The North West Provincial Office of the Department of Registration of Persons was established on 12.02.2017.

For the convenience of the applicants, national identity cards are issued from this office under the general service. In addition, the activities of issuing ID cards or number confirmation letters for school applicants in the Puttalam and Kurunegala districts of the North-West Province, as well as other services expected to be obtained from the main office's legal department, information verification department, etc. Inquiries can be made from this office.
