After scanning the applications submitted for obtaining National Identity cards, accuracy of data mentioned in the application is checked, and approval for the issuance of the National Identity card is given by the Authorization branch. At this point, incomplete applications will be forwarded to the Divisional Secretariats, or applications will be forwarded to the legal branch or the Number Verification Branch as required.
